AMALGAM was asked to plan an addition and interior renovation for a sea side ranch style house. The existing garage was rebuilt into a master suite with three season room wrapping around the back patio.

To make the most impact the existing house given a cosmetic renovation and the main focus was rebuilding the garage into a great master suite with three season room in the style of the existing house.

The exterior was clad in a low maintenance composite siding. The interiors are furnished with a combination of estate sale finds and the owner's own custom built pieces. The dining table, master bedside tables and coffee table in the three season room are all original designs of the owner and made from salvaged wood from the renovation project. Carrara marble counters with antique brass hardware in the kitchen give some old world charm while slate and subway provide a clean modern feeling for the master bath.
